Zils - The Art of Playing Finger Cymbals At last, a basic finger cymbal instruction book and cassette that is easy to follow for the beginning zill player. This is an excellent, simple instruction manual for playing all the basic rythms and their variations. The visual terminology used is the clear "R L R" Style, (R for the r hand, L for the l hand, and simple reversing of you are left handed). The Author, Mimi Spencer, is a well known percussionist/dancer on the west coast, and has been involved in much of Vince Delgado's (Jezayer) music.
